1X 5KW diesel heater. Heating power: 5KW. The heater can be used to heat the cab of trucks, vans, accumulators and other vehicles of all types. 1X exhaust pipe. 1X air intake pipe. 1X diesel filter. Can use diesel fuel.
I researched a lot of different makes before deciding on this one as it appears to have had good reviews. Once received I replaced the fuel line for a rigid plastic 2mm bore line as the one that comes with the heater is around 4-5mm bore which means the pump has to work harder to pull the fuel through. I also replaced the exhaust pipe with a weberspatcher exhaust as the quality of the supplied one was not very good. However this is the same for all the manufacturers of Chinese diesel heaters
Installation was very straightforward and simple to do - I have installed into the stern locker if my boat.
Financially it makes sense as my heating bills for electric was around £180 per month on the boat whereas this heater running daily will reduce the cost to around £50 per month in red diesel.
I did consider a true eberspatcher but at a cost of over £2000 I decided that even if I had to replace this heater every year it would take 29 years to equal the cost of the eberspatcher.
The unit comes with an easy to understand control panel which you can set up to work on timer much like central heating does. Also a handy remote control for those too lazy to get up and adjust from the control panel.
All in all a great little heater - granted I have only just started using it but impressed so far.
One suggestion- when installed before connecting to warm air pipes run it for a few hours as the air is a bit smelly - but once it burns off whatever causes the smell it is fine and can be connected to the warm air duct.

This heater compared with the German type offer an affordable alternative. I was impressed with the performance .You may consider updating the supplied fittings and fixtures with stainless steel. Although the instructions may be difficult to understand with a bit of care I had no problem. The only issue was with the exhaust silencer , within there is a coiled spring which is spot welded at each end of the silencer . At one end of this spring the spot weld had failed, this was easily repaired. The control display worked according to instructions with the option of selecting one of 6 heat settings or setting a thermostatic temperature setting up to a maximum of 30C. It also has a programmable timer, this is limited to one on / off cycle per day. The heater was supplied with a remote control which failed to operate as the remote is supplied without a battery .On installing a new battery (A27 12v) the led on the remote would indicate when a button was pressed and on this basis I assume the the unit to be operational.
A word on performance , in my test which was mainly at maximum heat output the heater consumed approx 0.2 L / hr.
On initial startup the heater would draw 9 amps after a few minutes this figure would drop to around 1 to 2 amps depending on settings
In standby state the heater would draw around 25ma, that's 1/40 of an amp.
At startup there was a small amount of white smoke which is normal and the same at shutdown. The instructions warn you not to disconnect the 12v battery to shut off the heater as this may cause damage to the onboard heater electronics due to overheating .The heater has a programmed shutdown procedure.
In terms of noise I found the unit to be quiet most noise from the internal fan and the ticking of the fuel delivery pump.
Some tips : make sure the fuel filter and fuel pump are in the proper direction and also with the pump offset around 30 degrees from horizontal. To promote longevity to the fuel pump ensure you prime the fuel supply upto the pump BEFORE using the fuel pump as the diesel fuel acts as a pump lubricant.
Connections on the exhaust side must be gas tight.
This is my first diesel heater and for the money I am impressed.Read full review
unit is awesome and delivers lots of heat, small and lightweight incredible for the price. Comes with everything required, however if you are installing in a boat you need additional parts. Amazing value for money. Exhast pipe is very short however you can buy longer lengths online.
Been running it for a month now I’m my camper and can report it works great and lots cheaper than the more expensive factory fitted types. I purchased a webasto fuel pipe and tank pickup kit to compliment it. For the price you won’t find better!
very efficient piece of kit, compact and easy to use. I had 1 part missing from the kit and the supplier rectified the problem promptly. Well done guys
