    Problem with power.

Fit them grips to my yamaha delight 125 . All works fine just after using them for about 20 min my scooter is losing power. (Battery is 3 month old and mopped is used as a daily runner) I'm not sure what's the reason...

  • Most critical review

    More like warm grips.

I have oxford grips on big bike and they work great. These are the same grips to look at but don't get anything like as hot? Poss reduced current draw to blame not sure. Not used in winter yet but fear they may be a bit weak.

  • Warm fingers

With the cold weather kicking in the price of of decent pair of gloves was double the price of a pair of heated grips so decided to purchase the hot grips for the scooter took a few hours to fit easy enough if you are handy at a bit DIY the gloves I've got are pretty thick but the cold was getting through after a 10 minute ride now with the hot grips fitted and set to the high temp my fingers have stayed nice and warm instead of numb worthwhile upgrade for a reasonable price

  • Disappointed

Good quality and the flush mount switch is neat. Grips do get quite hot on the high setting, however the current drain is more than the charging system can cope with. This causes the dash lights to go off and the oil warning light to flicker. Grips do get slightly warm on the lower setting with no effect on the rest of the electrical system . Not very good on a cold morning commute. I would not recommend fitting to a Vespa 50cc 2t unless you want to switch from high setting to low now and then just to keep the battery charged up

  • Excellent for my son on his scooter

We bought these for our son as a Xmas present as he has been absolutely freezing riding to college each day and was using little one use hand warmers which work out expensive in the long run so these heated grips are great value for money and do an excellent job at keeping his hands warm.

  • Would recommend the Oxford products as the quality in the kits our good

I purchased two sets of these heated grips for my partner & myself as we have both 125 cc scooters , the items arrived on time & good quality . After removing the old grips & fitting the new heated grips was relatively straightforward , was slightly fiddly fitting rocker switch for heating controls but got there lol , after testing them I have to say there pretty good 👍🏼

  • Budget heated grips

Bought these for my Son's CB125F and were easy to fit and give decent output got the limited power. Everything in the kit that you need to fit them, not sure about wiring directly to the battery (with fuse) as bound to be left on left on at some stage but at least he'll learn the art of bump starting early on in his biking career!

  • Dont buy.

Brought these for my Burgman 125, while trying to fed the wires and switch through the hole all the wires came of the back of the switch. No problem normally but Oxford think its funny to use all black wiring. The connectors they use to the grips are Tamiya type, which i wont use on a RC car as they are cheap rubbish. So these expensive ornaments are going in the bin. This is not the first time i have brought Oxford stuff and found them to be rubbish.

  • Keep warm when biking

Fitted by my 16 year old Grandson. Took a while as he had to drill to fit a cable, but he loves them and can’t recommend them highly enough. It makes his biking so much more pleasurable during these chilly days
