I purchase these as direct replacements for ones that were already installed when we purchased the property as we don't won't the expense and aggravation of having different ones installed. They work very effectively and are a reasonable price. Unfortunately they can only be bought with a timer nowadays but our wiring doesn't allow for that and I don't want to use one anyway and so I just remove the timer board and they work fine.

Easy to retro fit. Quiet & reasonably efficient. I fitted it in a situation where the timer cannot operate. In this case you need to put a small 'jumper' between the live & timer terminals (clearly marked on the inside of the back/base of the unit.

I used it to replace the same model fan I installed in 1990,not bad at all.

Plugged in to previous backing like a plug into a socket and instantly worked perfectly. As an upgrade I preferred previous which had closing flaps on the front where this one does not so is open to the outside. As they no longer make the previous version I had no choice.

Replacing the same model (which gave good service for almost 20 years) as it had got a bit noisy. Think the bearings had finally worn out. The electrician said they are a great little unit and newly installed in our downstairs cloakroom it is super quiet and efficient. Great VFM.
