definitely will always be with me on a job
very handy all round tool. i have been self employed for 30 years and regularly need to do things on a job that other tools can't do. this tool will get you out of a tight spot in many situations. above all it is very robust and well thought out, it is not a gimmick. it does what it says it will do very well. i have not tried everything yet but i have cut door frames for laminate flooring and wondered how i ever managed without one.it's not just a new string in my bow but several. the cuts are very clean and precise, simple to use and the quick change tool aspect makes it so easy and quick to go from one tool to the other. i tried the segmented blade out on removing tile grout and it did the job excellently and took me half an hour, only the week before i removed a similar amount of grout on another job and it took me over a day. it paid for itself on day one. sanding is easy especially into corners with the triangular pad, but i have to say that it has nothing on a belt sander for large areas, its horses for courses. there are many jobs which can be done by hand like cutting out plasterboard for electrical sockets with a stanley knife but this will do the job much easier and very much more quickly. i can see that it has a place in anyone's tool kit if only to get you out of a tight spot or to use it constantly for one thing or another. it's not a jack of all trades but a master of several.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

great tool
great tool for many jobs cutting metal and wood sanding etc I used it to remove mouldings from panels on one side of a victorian door to then allow me to put glass in. I couldn't have don it easily without it. the only thing I don't like is that it is easy to get your fingers smacked when putting the blade in, its like a snap action that gets your fingers but difficult for me to explain. you do get used to it and eventually I will learn to keep my fingers out of the wayVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Built like a tank and soooo easy to use. Only downside (not really a negative) is it requires mains power. Recently found on multiple jobs where the power was off I found myself wishing I bought the cordless model... Am seriously considering a cordless upgrade!
