An excellent value mutlimeter which can save you money
This multimeter seems like a qaulity product and it has already saved me £10 or there abouts. I bought a vintage everyready lantern torch on ebay. It came with two lantern batteries (PJ996) and the light from the incandescent bulb was so pitful I thought the batteries were emply but they weren't. They had about 5.5 volts about a volt down from the Varta PJ996s I boutht for the torrch. They are still on the shelf and the old batteries are powering a very bright Cree LED bulb. If you use a lot of batteries including rechareable batteries a multimeter is pretty essential in my view. I also used the meter to test the polarity of the torch (possive earth/chassis) so I could order the right bulb. Most LED bulbs are made for negative earth torches.

This is the one to buy
Bought this for working on motorcycle wiring, for the price it's fantastic. Well made with everything having a nice feel, the center dial has a nice positive click when turning, the cables fit nice and snug and screen is clear and easily readable. The only thing that's worth mentioning that isn't great is the screen back-light seems to be on a timer and turns of after 1 minute even when using the multimeter, so if you're looking for something to use in lower light conditions that's something to consider.

Good quality, great value multimeter
I'm no multimeter expert but this is a good quality, robust product. I've used it extensively since it arrived for van electrics and it has been superb. I like that it uses 2 AAA batteries as I always have them around unlike watch cells or 9v batteries. Comes with good, clear instruction booklet too. Highly recommend this.
