This radio controlled clock by St Helens Home Garden is supplied in an attractive white finish with a numerical dial. The radio controlled function means that the time on this clock is automatically set by a time code transmitted by a radio transmitter, this guarantees that the clock will always display the time accurately and will automatically update in Spring when the clocks go forward by one hour and in Autumn when the clocks go back by one hour. This clock can only be used in the UK and Ireland. Radio controlled clocks will only operate in buildings where the UK time code signal can penetrate. Metal clad buildings or those with re-enforced concrete are unlikely to be suitable for this product.

It’s about time!
Finally we have an accurate clock! This is a basic value for money clock which always has the correct time at a glance. My only criticism is the lack of any instructions. Getting the clock to work caused a great deal of puzzlement and frustration. After lengthy consultation of many websites I left the apparently lifeless clock, battery installed overnight. The next morning it was dutifully working away and telling the time. That’s all you have to do, simple but not that obvious! It just takes a while to get going. Avoid these and buy a better brand.
Unfortunately this clock is not good quality at all, all my other radio controlled clock automatically update at Daylight saving times, but this one did not, it then takes up to an hour to actually sync to the correct time. My Acclim clock all do this within seconds so I know it's the clock that is at fault :/ You can manually set the time which is what I ended up doing, so the clock can be used but not Radio controlled as advertised.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Smart looking automatic clock using UK signal.
This radio controlled clock takes it's signal from the UK which means the signal reception is more reliable in some weather conditions than the clocks that take their signal from Germany. Simple, clean and elegant face. I put the batteries in and it soon found the signal and set itself up accurately. Two days later the clocks went forward and it automatically reset itself.
