The 3699 fUZZ is a FOXX Tone Machine reissue model developed by current Dan Electro owner Steve Ridinger in the 1970s. The new FUZZ features MID BOOST and OCTAVE. The MID BOOST is not only an amplification of the midrange boost, but also a switch to change the original sound, and the OCTAVE switch is an independent OCTAVE ON/OFF switch that raises the range of the FUZZ pedal by one octave without being affected by other pedals.
