Good Tool for the Right Job
Though the DCPW550B 20V Max is a little bulky with the big battery compartment and the pressure isn't the strongest (but on par with similar tools), it is a great solution for small on-the-go and remote cleaning jobs. If you are using the siphon line, it takes some work to get the water to flow/feed but once primed, it works well. I bought the tool to clean off bikes after riding trails before loading into my trailer and other small jobs that I don't want to get the big gas power washer out for. Overall and so far, it has proven to be a good choice for the purpose I bought it for.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Swing and Miss
I was really optimistic when I ordered this. I was looking for something lightweight to wash my vehicles with, to keep from having to drag out the pressure washer. I have several of the other Dewalt Flexvolt tools, so this was going to be a good addition. The first thing I didn't care for as I assembled it was the battery goes inside a box, making changing out batteries a slow process trying to open the box and push the release button inside of it to release the battery...I'm sure that's to keep water off the battery, so I get it. Got it hooked up and ready for a test run, cleaning bugs off the grille of my Jeep. The first nozzle had very little pressure, so changed to a tighter pattern, still not enough pressure, switched to the third, narrower pattern, still not enough power to remove bugs from a vehicle. I also kept having it lose pressure, maybe like an internal tank was being drained as I would go along, so I would have to stop spraying for a minute and let it catch up. I boxed it up within 20 minutes of receiving it. The next day my son reminded me that there was a turbo nozzle and I didn't try it....YES! That was going to be the answer....WRONG! Even with the turbo nozzle this thing can't handle basic car washing, I get higher pressure from the sprayer on my water hose. Sent it back the next day. Power cleaning on the go!!!
deWalt tools has done it again,, This tool I had my doubts on, How powerful can a pressure washer be when you can carry it with one hand? I asked myself. Well it turns out this tool is designed very stubby but powerful enough to wash off mud of your truck tires and car hood, It comes with 4 different nozzles depending on the pressure you want to operate on. It’s greatest advantage is it’s portability , Believe it or not! It comes with an adapter for a two litter soda bottle to be used when there is no water connectivity.Plenty of power to clean your two-story windows,and the easy of use to carry the tool around without dragging a hose.Great addition to your 20volt deWalt battery platform.It’s a great value for the person that already has the battery and charger , buy the tool only.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

DeWalt DCPW550B battery power pressure washer
DeWalt 550PSI Power Cleaner has better psi than the existing Worx (but the Worx has a newer model with 750psi, and it costs more). The existing line of DeWalt 20V Lithium battery can be used for this model. I used the fully charged 20V 5ah battery to wash my vehicle, it drains very fast and cannot wash my second one while the Worx 40V can wash 2 vehicles without any problem. DeWalt provides an adapter that can be connected direct to the garden host and the Worx does not have this one, you have to purchase this accessory.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best portable power washer hands down
We often don't have hose access, so being able to fill buckets to wash cars is extremely convenient. I also find that its the perfect PSI for washing vehicles without feeling like you're about to take paint off, but sure gets the dirt and grime off especially after a soak. 1 5ah battery last more than washing a full car so I'm also happy with that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Do not buy - its a toy not a tool.
It leaks and is grossly under-powered. Even from small jobs like washing out garage or getting bird stuff off car it just doesn't have the power. I got better results using water hose with my thumb over nozzle. Awkward to handle and weird balance of weight. Doesn't have the range to wash windows. It is a pure toy.
