The play on the words "High Art" in combination with the laser sharp story make this thoughtful study of lives out of control a worthy watch.
This is a character driven film that I saw years ago and thought I would like to share it with some of my friends. It was an excellent copy and played flawlessly. Despite its age it is still a relevant and compelling story. The acting and the subtlety of the direction are way above par. Love Ally and Radha but the movie was not good.
I purchased the movie because I liked Ally Sheedy and Radha Mitchell. The movie must have been made when Radha was just starting and Ally had already been around a while. I guess I remember Ally best for being in the brat pack movies because I didn't like this movie fit for her. Radha was great in Pitch Black and I also think this wasn't a good movie fit for her either. This is an amazing movie
