CAL, the wellbeing octopus originated from a knitted octopus called Calamari SHANARRI, created by myself in 2017 to help children understand the Scottish Government's. Calamari SHANARRI (CAL) was launched in 2018 as part of Scotland's Year of Young People #YOYP2018. The book provides a fun learning tool for children, families and teachers.
