  • Horrors of the Holocaust - not for everyone!

Be careful. This difficult subject could be upsetting and isn't sugar coated . Amazing insight into a survivors life post war and the difficulties coming to terms with the trauma of the death camps. Edith opens her heart and soul to the world and this is what gives the book it's humanity and hope for a future lived fully after trauma. Lessons learnt are that the past does not go away but it is PAST and we have a choice to live our future differently. There is hope.

  • Life-changing view book!

I've only just finished part 1 of this book, and I'm already willing to forgive everyone who I believe has wronged me. In a way this book is like a didactic journal, and is a must-read for anyone who's been wronged so badly they cannot forgive. This book is capable of liberating people from vengeful and negative thoughts. So far I'm very impressed!

  • An inspirational read

This is the third copy I've bought for a friends after reading it myself. I found her story to be compelling and inspiring. We alway have choice, regardless of how difficult they may be. This is empowering to realise in those dark moments.

  • Grewsome but enthrawling.

The book is very compelling to read but does show a very sinister side to the German way of trying to exterminate a human race and try to produce a blond super race of Germans.
