A great British film
Ghost Stories is a great movie. Its told in part using wide open vistas yet manages to feel cloying and claustrophobic. Atmosphere drips off the screen and the cinematography really is superb. The grading of the film makes it look like a late Autumn/early winter in the UK as one would imagine it to be. The very small cast of characters is well chosen and range from serious to funny. As with all the best horror films its what you dont see that makes thisone scary, and the tension is built up very nicely in places with one very comedic escape at one point lightening the mood. The print is flawless and thesound is crisp and clear. There are a few basic extras but nothing to write home about. I recommend this film and would love to see the live stage show on which it is based.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
