High Spirits is a funny film, with decent visuals, and a great comic performance by Peter O'Toole. It revolves around a group of people trying to save the castle they live in by faking ghosts, only to awaken real ghosts who don't take kindly to being disturbed. Some of the acting is patchy, and it has a distinctive American comedy feel at times, but overall it works. Also, if you're a fan of romantic comedies, there is an element of that here too.
