Cult director Mario (Dr Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine) Bava's film has little to do with vampires but with the fate of the spaceship Argos which crashlands on planet Aura. The crew set off to sister-ship Galliot for rescue but along the way, not only do they discover the remains of an alien ship but strange forces start to take them over and mayhem, sabotage, murder and blood-lettings ensue.
