  • Chess for everyone

For a beginning chess player this book gives you everything you need to get started. For the recreational player this is a good reference (rule book) on moves and strategy should a question arise. A lot of good chess books out there but I think this one is one of the best. Very clearly and precisely written with LOTS of pictures (who does not like that) along with the history of chess as it worked its way around the world over the centuries (from 5th century AD). Chess is fun first and foremost, mentally challenging, and easy to learn.
