Great starter books
My mother started me on the Dick and Jane books at age 3 and I was reading before I started kindergarten. I have a set of triplets that have been struggling with reading since kindergarten and they are 2nd graders, so I went back to the basics. I ordered the first 2 series and by the end of the day they had read all 12 books. I actually had 2 make them go to bed. Now that their confidence is where it should be they want to read all the time and are doing much better in school. The books are very old school and the graphics are less of a distraction as well. I got these for my granddaughter but she said she can't be bothered, but there isn't any excuse for a nine year old not to read. Every thing is minecraft and ark, not'llreading. Back in the day
