Sinatra s first film after his Oscar winning performance in From Here To Eternity, the similarities between this work of fiction and the real life events in Dallas, Texas in 1963 were such that Frank Sinatra ordered the film to be withheld from distribution for several years after the assassination of President Kennedy.
