I really liked Shanghai Noon and looked forward to Shanghai Knights, but the choreography of the comedic fighting scenes is just overdone for me: even Singing in the Rain gets into a fight! My son on the other hand thinks Knights is just about better than Noon - a huge accolade as he's a major fan of Shanghai Noon. Definitely plenty of action and comic scenes. Full of parodies of victorian england and other stereotypes.
Not as good an offering as Shanghai Noon but well worth watching because of the chemistry that exists between Chan and Wilson, their differences make them a really good comedy pairing. The action sequences are superb and the choice of a Chinese and American cowboy pairing in old London town comes off surprisingly well.
