Product Information

This popular British TV mini-series featured a cool couple of detectives and an excellent jazz soundtrack. In fact, jazz seems to omnipresent in the lives of these crime fighters and spurs them into action. This installment features Trevor (James Bolam) accepting some jazz tapes by a local barman, but these tapes also have a recorded conversation about nuclear dumping. When Trevor's girlfriend Liz (Barbara Flynn) her eco instincts have them following a trail all over Europe to find the culprits.

I thoroughly enjoyed the nostalgia and humour of the piece.
As this was a Tv broadcast in episodes I was suprised to find it had no menue but in one long programme. It al so has poor quailty playbac with frezing and skipping.

A tale of our heroes battling dark government forces
This particular part of the Biederbecke Trilogy is feature length, and darker than the Affair or Connection. As a result it is a bit heavier going, though the lighter moments maintain its entertainment rating
