Additional InformationIn 1989 the BBC's QED programme aired a documentary about the life of John Davidson, a 15 year old boy from Galashiels in Scotland. John was a sufferer of the then little known Tourette's Syndrome, a complex neurological disorder. It manifests itself through nervous tics and the involuntary use of socially unacceptable words. This release also includes the BBC's follow-up film THE BOY CAN'T HELP IT, where John is now a 31 year old adult.
