MOST ENJOYABLE
I was not sure what I was expecting as I know the lead actor Bernard Cribbins tends to play the silly foil to the smarter friend in Comedy films. I was pleasantly surprised that he carried the film forward at a good interesting pace. As a police detective he showed courage, humanity, common sense and some foolishness to obtain missing evidence, to solve the case of a teenage girl who disappeared many years before. Another comedian Bill Maynard (a book worm) played his best friend digging up evidence at the local library. I love this film & I'm glad I bought it to ,It's very hard to come by & get hold of now, but It's a good watch & It has some good humour in which work wells Ok It's an old film some may find It a little dated but I really like these types of films & I found the characters very engaging great script & plot. Bernard Cribbins is at his best playing the hapless accident prone detective Dangerous Davis with a great supporting cast Bill Maynard, Joss Ackland, Maureen Lipman, & Lucy Aston. also look out for a young Pam St Clement & Collin Baker tooVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great but pricey
