Here we have Dokken's 'Hell to Pay' CD. This album starts off alright with such interesting tracks as 'The Last Goodbye' and 'Prozac Nation', but like several of the more recent Dokken albums it tends to trail off a bit after the first 6 tracks or so. It's fairly standard rock stuff. I bought it as I'm a completist. Only get it if you are a hard-core Dokken fan. It's good as background music for when you are doing something else, but if you are just chilling and listening to the music for it's own sake then it can get a bit tedious. If you're new to Dokken, stick with their 80's stuff, as every old song is a winner. For your info these older albums are 'Breaking the Chains', 'Tooth and Nail', 'Under Lock & Key', 'Back for the Attack', and 'Beast From the East'. Actually the 90's 'Dysfunctional' and 'Erase the Slate' are alright too. Oh and look out for Don Dokken's side album 'Up From the Ashes' as well. This is very good.Read full review
