Does the job at a more reasonable price
Bought this because the original bell pushes need replacing on a regular basis and are very expensive. (for what they are). We would have given it five stars except it is smaller than the original part which means drilling more holes on the UPVC door frame. Works well
It works well with my Libra+ model. Looks nice and better designed than the original Libra+ bell push because this is designed to be taken off cleanly from the attachment that is fixed to the wall using a tab. But more expensive than it should be in my view.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

More stylish than original bell push
This is a much better looking bell push than the original which had turned from white to yellow over time, if you had screwed the original into UPVC framework like I had done this new bell push does not cover both holes, I had to manufacture a oblong piece of UPVC and make a mounting plate so as to make it look smart other than that no complaints whatsoever, much easier to access for battery replacement, would recommend without hesitation, just make sure you have a Libra+ otherwise it won't work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A worthwhile substitute at a reasonable price.
It is often not easy to keep older electronic equipment operational. This item allows you to do that and demonstrates excellent back up support for what is, a first class product in the first place. More manufacturers should look at this aspect of their sales philosophy. I, for one, do not buy again from companies who make obtaining spares or extras impossible to obtain. Bell push now called Honeywell
The bell push works well with Friedland base units. Better design than the Friedland bell push because they are sealed units with a rear battery compartment. Different hole centres but base plate still covers old holes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent buy, does the job, smart design

So much better than my old bell push
We've had a Friedland libra+ for a few years and the bell push stopped working, I really like the tone of the bell etc so rather than get a cheap Chinese thing that seem to have flooded the bell market I opted to just get a new reciever, this one looks nicer than my old one and has an led coloured light once pushed so the person at the door knows it's worked. It really is compatible with the Libra+ bell
Yes, it really is compatible with the Libra+ bell system. A better design than the original too - the unit is fully sealed against the elements (except the battery of course which needs to be changed from time to time). I have had two of the original bell pushes and both failed - I suspect that the failures were due to the ingress of water. So this is a great improvement.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works with my Friedland Libra
Works with my Friedland Libra but on occasion the bell does not ring. This is very intermittent and maybe that people are not pushing the bell push hard enough, seems to work every time I try it. Efficient smart bell push.
Used as a replacement bell push for use with Libra chime unit. Unit fitted easily using double sided pad and tuned into unit with ease. Smarter looking push than the old oblong one and looks more substantial. I purchased two as the other door push will probably go in the future and I can easily replace this with the matching oval unit.
