Budget item but excellent value and service.
This product dies not claim to be audiophile or professional quality and it is not. However it certainly is good audio quality, reasonably well packaged, easy to connect, small dimensions, can run from a single battery and will be more than adequate (having low distortion and noise with RIAA equalisation) based around the respected NE5532 IC on a good pcb for the vast majority of turntable MM cartridges without any significant degradation of the signal. The construction could be a little better but would then require an increase in cost. Delivery, being international from Cyprus took a little time but was within estimate and is contained within the basic price. A question to the supplier was answered quickly. Worth every penny. Crystal clear
neat small and accepts a wide range of supply voltage NE5523p IC A well known dual channel Op amp. I use a NAD C320BEE and I use the 12v switched power socket to run the preamp its so clean no humming at all. now to the sound. I like a range of music including heavy metal & rock. i have tried other preamps and all were lacking that guitar sound lots of bass no high treble and sounded like a lot missing in the mid range. This preamp has everything I love it. You would pay a lot more for less elsewhere. Not the prettiest box but who cares its in the back of my HIFI cabinet more function than form. Natural sound preamp

Low on gain.
