Does the job.
We had a condensation problem, brought about by the CH Boiler packing in, and this unit has cured it, the unit is noisier than I expected although never having had a dehumidifier before, I can't comment if it is louder or quieter than other compressor types. Our CH Boiler is 30 years old, and can't be repaired, will be getting a new system put in and a Wood Burner, which will make a big difference. Although the CH boiler has been out of action for 2 years now, our Gas bill is Zero, and we are almost getting used to not having a CH system, although being without running hot water is a pain in the arse, so need to get things sorted. I am considering buying another dehumidifier for the downstairs rooms, as the unit is always used in the upstairs bedrooms. The house is 1898 and built from stone, with 2ft thick solid walls, no cavity that I am aware of, although only a two up two down the house is quite large by modern day standards.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Compact and easy to move around
Very happy with this dehumidifier. There was no moisture at all on any of the windows after running it during the night. It could maybe have been slightly quieter but only had it for a few days and need to find the best platform to stand it on as the noise level is higher when standing on the floor. Our flooring is a vinyl plank on top of an insulated wooden base. Tried a granite off cut and it made a big difference. It is absolutely quiet when lifted up off the floor by the handle.
