Gives weather protection, and a non-slip finish
I bought the 2.5L container. It's really easy to apply - I just used a brush, and you can tell that it's better grip, just by standing on an area that's been oiled, compared to the non-oiled decking. It rained shortly after I'd applied oil to most of the decking, and the water didn't absorb into the oiled wood, but just lay on top. I could even see the bits that weren't yet oiled, because the rain soaked into the wood.
