Too Many Words
The physical quality of the book is fine. It's the writing that I didn't like. Too many words for a supposedly thriller story. You could take this book and remove about 50% of the words and you'd have a great, fast reading story. Nowadays I see this a lot in writers who spend too much time distracting us with mental dialogue and back history that completely destroys the momentum of an otherwise interesting story.
