top flight Samsung rechargeable battery sets the standard for 18650 3000MaH
There are a growing number of products that put in use one or more 3.7 V rechargeable Li-ion batteries partly borne from the need to cut down on the damage to the environment from improper single-use battery disposal. The majority of 18650's offered are of questionable or sub-standard quality with inaccurate or deceptive specifications. According to my own research Samsung 18650's have above average performance characteristics in discharge stability and discharge time and it seems the 3000Mah are better for overall balance of discharge energy rates over time. The type of use and the circuitry controlling the way the energy discharge is allocated over time is very use specific; for high output handheld targeting lasers and tactical lighting they are well-suited. Samsung 18650 are well built and are among the top 5 in my list of preferred 18650 batteries.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Old cells, tested low capacity
These cells appear genuine, but the date code says they were manufactured in April 2017 so they are old cells. I had one bad cell out of the lot that had a really high internal resistance (>100mΩ). I tested the capacity of the remaining cells, and they came in low around 2000 mAh instead of their rated 2500 mAh.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
