For the money, this is a treat machine. The plus side is that it is ready to use very quickly, it has an integrated grinder so the whole package is very compact. It’s relatively easy to produce great expresso and you can play around with the settings to your hearts content fine tuning the grinder, the water quantity and the dose. The magnetic tamper is very neat and always to handand it comes with some nice accessories such as the milk jug and the razor dose control for levelling the coffe prior to fitting the port a filter. I got the black one as the stainless version looked to be easy to cover in finger prints if some examples I have seen are typical, and the black version looks great. . Being ultra picky, the grinder control is rather coarse compared to more expensive dedicated grinders, and only having one boiler for both steam and expresso makes life a little more complicated, the steam is also relatively low pressure, certainly when compared to machines costing a lot more. Overall, a great introduction to expresso brewing, and I'm sure more than enough for most people, but also a good machine to learn on if you decide to take it further. Read full review

We’ve had this machine for 6 months. So far so good!! It is quite user friendly once you get it set up and much quicker to make two people coffee than our previous machine which had to have the grinds loaded separately each time. I like that it does everything including the grinding which you can set to your specific taste. I’m no connoisseur so don’t really have much to add other than the other half loves it and it is so straight forward even I can actually make good coffee - despite the price we have no regrets.

The machine takes a while to get fine tuned and used to, however, the espresso it produces when perfected is a real step up from cheaper models. The steam pressure for the milk frother is quite poor though and tends to be a bit hit and miss.

I was hesitant to consider at the start spending so much money on a refurbed product… I read a lot reviews and decided to take the gamble and wow, just wow. So simple to use, and I just keep learning new ways to impress myself!

Makes great coffee had an other machine for years so was a bit reluctant to buy a more expensive product but it truly is worth the money you simply can’t make coffee like this on a machine costing in the £200 to £300 range it’s a bit of a trial and error to get the coffee to your liking but once you’ve got it right you can really taste the difference
