Ideal and robust enough for a working Defender
Quality branded Radio & CD player for those of us who also like to be able to use Compact-Disc's in the car. The sound is very-very good playing out through a pair if Midi-HI-FI speakers screwed to the rear sides of the truck, so not at all like the 'cheap ones' that sound like frying eggs 'n bacon..hiss-crackle-pop Yes it does other 'new fangled' stuff too but I'm not interested as I still like going into a 'charity shop' and getting a disc for 50p (UK) or there abouts and giving it a listen as the truck often ends up in out-of-cell coverage areas where streaming spotify etc to the radio via a phone would be impossible..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A good feature-rich, yet simple, car stereo.
Top of my list for standard 1-DIN car stereo! It replaced an older model (KDC-4024 - original equipment!) and the difference is amazing; it just shows how the tech has improved over the years. Easy to use, easy to see and it even retains the station presets when the car battery is disconnected! For it's class it has good sound and a strong volume, works very well with the original Kenwood speaker configuration in my car, and represents excellent value for money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
