This thing really sucks!
The Hover regret the pet professional is a modern engineering marvel. On the things that count. The size of the fur ball it created on that I thought was a clean carpet was amazing. My only concern now is that it might remove all the carpet fibers and leave me with only the jute carpet backing. A nice feature is that you can adjust the suction sould decide to proactively vacuum you anamal this can be done without injury. I understand that animals don't like to be vacuumed so do so at your own risk. The main reason for this purchase was because the handle easily removes making it very compact for storage within my micro condo. When embracing the little like such things are of extreme important. Only complaint I have is with the on board cleaning tool storage seems like such a simple thing, that like the Bissell vacuum that it replaced, tools will are not held securely and fall to the floor during operation. The floor sensing technology is cool going for carpet to bare floors with ease. Maneuvers are effertless, and the headlights and disco lamp are a welcome bonus. My new Hoover pet vacuum
It is powerful, but very difficult to push "against the grain" of carpeting. Pet hair attachment often don't want to turn to remove fur when used on upholstery. I like that it has the floor sense option, it adjusts itself when changing from hardwood floor to carpet. Swivel head on vacuum is good to move around tight places. Great vacum for animals.

I like the suction power of the machine. It's great. It's very heavy though. Does not pick up in corners and edges like I would like.

Easy to understand and set up except for the attachment holder near the handle which I figured out after re-examining the instructions . Motor sound is pleasant and the vacuum was kind to the carpet pile but very effective in picking up the top layer and sub layer debris you can't really see until you vacuum and inspect the canister when you go to empty it . Deep pile carpet was easy to move around on and with the exclusive vacuum adjustment knob I quickly and easily adjusted the vacuum action to the carpet . It was almost as if the vacuum had motorized wheels to self propel . So for a manual push-pull model it worked great and the attachments for pet hair removal and step cleaning was the total great experience . The LED light was very nice and the lighted readout mode was perfect . I was concerned the vacuum's cost wouldn't match the value but I had no reservation in considering the price to value as excellent for me . I recommend it .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
