    Durhand plastic car ramps lightweight and a good size

    Purchased Durhand plastic ramps to replace my old metal ramps that have owned for many years. My old metal ramps date from times when wheels and tyres were generally much thinner. These ramps are much wider and with the extra length make the angle of climb less. They are not as high as the old metal ramps, but so far not found that to be a problem. Also like the split design, find them easier to store, although they do not store on top of each other. Also managed to get these during a 20% discount offer. Overall very happy with these.

    Wide ramps that appear to work well

    I was concerned as these ramps are about 20mm lower than my previous ones and cannot be used on gravel, I have a gravel drive. However I made supports using scaffolding board which not only solved the gravel issue but raised the ramps slightly higher than my previous ones. I was also concerned as the wheel area seemed a little short. Today I changed the oil on my C3 diesel. I need not have worked, the car went up the ramps easily and the shape of the ramp fitted the tyre perfectly. I still chocked the rear wheels for safety but I don’t think I needed to. My other car is a Skoda Octavia and I can see no reason why the ramps wouldn’t work just as well. With the extra height of scaffolding board plenty of room under the car. Very pleased with these ramps as unlike my metal ones no shar edges so much kinder on tyres

    User-Friendly Ramps

    It is convenient and you feel confident using it. It is very forgiving and you do not have to worry about getting it perfectly aligned. You can drive forward until you hit the end ridge, with no danger of going over. There is a smaller ridge to stop the vehicle rolling backwards. The car will stay in position without anything to stop it rolling, but you can still push it off if if you want to.
