Good cover
Our Genesis grill is now 4 years old and the original Weber cover that we bought with it was in tatters. It was not exposed to anything particularly harsh, but the heavy vinyl cover that Weber used to make at the time was cracked, and had little tears all over it. It was heavy and did not fold up well, we had to drape it over the deck rail when the grill was in use. In the winter it was very stiff and you felt like it would just break when it you removed or replaced it in colder temperatures. We wanted an OEM Weber cover because of the fit and this new one fits as well as the last, but is a thinner material which does not look as though it will crack or rip. Not sure what use the bag is, but maybe we'll try it. It's not like we leave the grill uncovered for long periods of time. Usually the cover goes back on as soon as its cool enough. On line prices vary widely - shop around. And may eBay sellers will list their cover is a Weber and even show a photo of the Weber logo, but read the descriptions carefully to get an actual Weber branded cover. I wouldn't buy one that didn't have a photo of the actual Weber packaging.
