Not for large shoes
These are great quality for the price, however if you have large shoes and want to stretch them you will need some paper to pad out as at full extension they are same size as a size 12 shoe. I would also say that if you want to stretch your shoes lengthways and widthways you will have to do this in 2 phases as widening the shoe shortens the length of the stretcher, not a problem if your shoes are smaller than a size 10 but I'm a 12. Saying that with a little padding they have stretched my shoes by half a size and also widened them by around half an inch. All in all a good product but I feel they should only be advertised to stretch shoes from a size 10 down as I had to improvise quite a lot to get them to stretch my size 12's.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Horrible item
Misleading description .This stretcher won’t stretch anything size 10 and above. The length stretch system it’s impossible to use successfully, considering the moving part it’s a small piece of cheap plastic. Even the width is useless considering that it only widens the very tip of the shoe. It’s very short and slim, looks like it’s made for women and kids. Very good product for the price
Got these to stretch my football boots and it did exactly that. I wear the football boots 1 day a weak and was not comfortable at all, it hurts my little toes. I inserted the bunion corn plugs in place where i need it on the stretchers, pliced in the football boots and swisted the end to expand to as required. Left in for a week and i can finally enjoy football⚽️👌🏾. I woukd recommend for expanding shoes. I bought a pair of size 9 Jeffrey West shoes online. Which turned out to be very tight, especially in the width. I bought a pair of these stretchers. Put them in my shoes for 5 days. They did an excellent job. And now fit perfectly. I tried the bunion caps, but removed them as they were stretching areas of the shoe too much. All in all a very good product. Woodwork needs to be wider for use on a man's foot

Works well but fragile

I used these items to stretch a size 11 (uk) size pair of Nike air trainers that were beginning to pinch a little. This supplier sold me a pair of stretchers where I have seen single ones for the same price or more. I once saw my grandmother use some of these years ago and I remembered what she did. Put the stretchers into the shoes having first fitted the corn/bunion pieces if required. Tighten the little centre butterfly nut until the heal piece is tight up to the end of the shoe, then rotate thr L shaped handle to open the spreaders. Once there is enough tension in the shoe to expand for the toes, leave the items in place for maybe one or two days to let the shoes settle into a new shape.
