A lot of light...
I bought two of them. The pro side? These things are incredibly bright , small and light. They also represent a good value when compared to similar lights that are advertised on television. The down side? They don't come with a battery. and they use very pricey lithium-ion 3.7 volt batteries in a size not commonly found in most stores that sell batteries. The alternative is to buy an adapter that allows the light to use 3 AAA batteries. I chose to locate a source for the batteries that the light calls for (#18650)-- along with a charger. Even with purchasing a battery and charger, the entire cost was still pretty affordable. I'd recommend them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Shadowhawk flashlight
Constructed pretty well and thats all it has going for it, unfortunately when comparing this light which is a replica of the Ultrafire 878, it pales in output compared to other high end lights I have that are in the 600-800 lumen range, lights from Surefire, Streamlight that are respectable top rated flashlight manufacturers. With the Shadowhawk it's probably in the 150-250 lumen range which sucks and with the zoomable feature you will lose a lot of the lumens claimed since it is poorly designed and won't distribute the light properly like a reflector style light. You can do much, much better with other brands as mentioned above that do cost more but are higher quality and will give you the right lumens you paid for unlike Shadowhawk and other brands similar to it that go by different names.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Turns night into day!
I purchased this for my significant other as a surprise and was he ever! He had been wanting one of these tactical flashlights and this one is exactly what he wanted. This light is very well made, light weight and SUPER BRIGHT! The light has 3 light functions....steady beam, SOS and strobe. The lens also extends and retracts to enlarge or minimize the size of the beam. How handy is that? It is supposed to be water proof so that is another plus. It comes with a powerful rechargeable battery with the charger. The flash light also comes in a nice foam lined case for storage so for the money, this is a fantastic deal. Ladies, this light is small enough to carry in your purse as it's about the same size as a hard eyeglass case. It's not for men only! Can't take a 26650
The Flashlight can be Powered by: - 26650 3.7v 3000mAh lithium-ion battery - 18650 3.7v 3000mAh lithium-ion battery (use with the included plastic sleeve) - 3 x AAA batteries (use with the included AAA battery holder) This is what is listed in the description, but I assure you that you will never get a true 26650 battery to fit. You need a 30mm or 3cm handle in order to have enough room for that. This light is under that requirement. As far as everything else about the light goes I have no faults. Very bright, last long on one battery, and the light is very crisp which makes it easier to see things. You don't have light glare with this light as some of the other ones have, where light reflects off what you are shining it on and so you can't see it as well. Over all this is a very well built light and worth the price.

Shadow Hawk X800 Review
How good is it? I think that question is way too soon to answer since this product is recently new. We purchased two of them to test and did,so the quality in the body seems to be very good, and since the price has dropped the value seems to be good. The light is super bright for a small flashlight and I would recommend it if it will last a few years. Like 5 years.
