Excellent for car keys, for cars with keyless ignition.
I purchased this item to block the signal that my cars key emits (key less ignition). With ever increasing technology available to steal the signal, apparently up to 20 feet or more away, then to use to steal the vehicle, without the need to even see the key, I thought I would give it a try. Works a treat, a bit more piece of mind. It's a bit of a nuisance to keep having to put the keys in the case, that's the fault of vehicle manufacturers not being ahead of the game as far as security is concerned. Efficient but quite large
Does what it claims to do very well. The only concern is the physical size of this particular design as it is designed to hold keys and a mobile phone which isn't stated clearly in the description. BUT curiously, the modern vehicles that have key less entry that the wallet is designed for will also have Bluetooth connection for phones, so the claim that putting the phone in the wallet removes the temptation for the driver to pick the phone up is irrelevant. More consistently effective than another that I had bought at Halfords. Large enough to use with a mobile phone, when in the car (to avoid distracting calls) and for modern, larger, car key-fobs. Excellent security for remote opening cars
There have been several cars stolen in recent weeks in our area, so i was becoming worried about my car when our village Crimewatch coordinator put out an email about the problems and mentioned these blockers as a good way of preventing such thefts. I bought some of the pouches and tested mine by putting my keys in and then trying to open my car door with the pouch in my hand. Well made product that does what it is dsigned to do.
Now have four of these and if you do not mind the logos this is a very useful product. I use it for car keys rather than a phone and these rather bulky KIA keys fit with no problems.
