About Our Rosehip Oil 100% Cold Pressed Pure Organic Rosehip Oil. Supplied in amber glass pipette bottle. Extraction method : Cold pressed Colour: Dark, reddish orange which proves its virgin state. Overview: Rosehip oil comes from the seeds of a wild rose bush (Rosa moschata or Rosa rubiginosa). A cold-press extraction method separates the oil from the hips and seeds. The delicate oil needs refrigerated or stored in a cool, dark location to prevent rancidity. For facial skin care, rosehip oil offers several benefits when applied externally due to its primary constituents: essential fatty acids, vitamin E, vitamin C and B-carotene, a form of vitamin A. Rosehip oil do not carry any rose fragrance as the oil is extracted from the seeds or fruits and not from the petals which contain the aromatic molecules.
