I've tried a few sprayers over the years, and this is the best by far. It is powerful, and provided you keep it clean between uses it does not clog and will spray beautifully evenly. I sprayed 3 full sized garden benches with 3 coats each - 5-6 mins per bench per coat. One jug of paint sprayed 2 benches (10 minute spraying time) A few tips: - Invest some time in getting set up with a supply of clean cold water and a bowl of warm soapy water. - The front section removes from the rear motor for easy cleaning. This section then breaks down (easily) into 4 easy to clean components - Ensure components are fully tightened when re-assembling (this was the only time the unit failed for me. The jug that holds the paint needs to form an air tight seal with the main unit) - After use, clean the jug, then fill with warm soapy water, and spray the contents right through the sprayer. So despite having to clean and prep the gun, I believe I still completed the job in just 15-20% of the time it would normally take, and got a far superior result. Read full review

Used this with Cuprinol wood stain which is too thick on its own. I filled the bottle up and left about 2 inches at the top to put water in. Stir it up and away you go. The gun spreads even, is easy to use and the paint goes a very long way meaning it’s cost effective too. Last time I painted my decking with a brush last year it took me 3hrs and used approx half a tub of paint., Used the spray gun today and it took 30mins and only used a 3rd of a tub of paint. I should have bought one years ago! Brilliant machine and easy to take apart to clean. Highly recommend.

Having suffered a slipped disk, whilst manually painting the fence last year, I was not keen to repeat the experience. I bought this nifty little gadget hoping to ease the problem. I am very pleased with it and it took me 15 minutes to paint 3 5' x 6' fence panels. Ok, they will need doing again next year I suspect, but they have covered well and evenly. I tried it out on a cardboard box first and got the spray right but I have to say it worked marvelously. The only down side is re-filling the little (and it is little) paint holder pot, but I guess that it gives the gun a rest so that it can cool down. I only use sprayable fence paint, and haven't tried it with other products, but I am delighted at how little effort there is with this and you can get a good finish. I did get covered because the weather was slightly breezy, so don't do it next to cars or anything, but I would order this again.Read full review

Do i like it? O yes I do, I can't fault it, its really well made and sprays like a dream, I would not hesitate to use this for automotive paint work. I blitz my long fences in far less time than if I was using a brush. pros - build quality, the way it works & price. cons - its heavy, its noisy, the pot is a little on the small side. ideally if iwas to look to buy another i would look for one that draws the paint from the piant pot as this would result in less of a messy situation.

I have never used a spray gun before so I was not sure what to expect. Filling the little tank is a little tricky and it is important that the viscosity is correct so that whole process can be a little messy but thats down to me, not the machine. Although I said the container is small, as it is part of the unit you have to hold, a larger container would add to the weight which would not be a good thing. Once it is filled with the correct mix of paint, it is easy to use, quite noisy and I am not sure where the 'AIRLESS' comes in because it works by blasting air over a pipe in the spray head which draws the paint up and blows it out onto the workpiece! Anyway, it works well, there is some adjustment regarding the shape and size of the spay. Once I got the hang of the smooth regular movement required it was great. As a first time sprayer, I found it easy to use and I managed a passable job. Clean up was, as expected, quite involved, simple enough but it is important to take the spray head apart and flush it thoroughly after every use so make sure the job you have is worth the effort of cleaning it! I was spraying a ceiling so I found the weight of the unit full of paint quite tiring to hold up but manageable. I found the strength required to hold in the trigger was significant, I had to swap hands several times, perhaps I am just weak!Read full review
