    It works... but

    It works. In a slug repellent, that's a real bonus, as most slug remedies don't. BUT it's expensive. Probably not expensive for what it is, but you need to use a lot to make it work, so that you're often putting more than the cost of the plant around it. Worth it? Up to you. Plus - it's not easy to find in the 5l size, and seemingly impossible to buy in bulk. Which is what you want, to get the cost down. The marketing needs competent attention.

    Unimpressed

    In an attempt to be more environmentally friendly, I thought I'd give these pellets a go. True to what it says on the packaging, they do form a mat, which I'm in no doubt the slugs find irritating. Problem is, so do my hands. Weeding next to said mat was very uncomfortable, and the skin on my hands is like leather. Also, the squash plants I was using the pellets to protect were decimated within 2 days of application, and it looked remarkably like the slug damage I was protecting against. Overall, unimpressed

    Eco friendly slug/snail control

    I like to avoid chemicals so look forward to trying this product, as I think it will be good to put around my hostas! They are too damaged to try this year but I will use it early spring in the pots. I have not used any yet, so cannot comment on its effectiveness.

    Great organic pest control

    Recommended by my neighbour and works great. Always looking for none chemical ways to garden and keep pests away. first year I've grown lots of veg and the slugs got almost all my first crop. Used this on my second load of plants and has kept all the slugs away so far. Used about half the tub on around 30 individual planted plants so really good value

    Smelly but effective

    So far so good. Bought these pellets as I wanted to deter the slugs & snails but not poison them. I'm trying to get frogs & toads in my newly built pond so can't risk the traditional pellets. Smelly (like sheep poo) , but see to be deterring the critters!

    Good so far

    Don’t mind the smell, rather farm like. Seems to work so far on protecting my baby sweet peas. Only drawback is when I watered it in, it has a tendency to wash away which is frustrating. But overall it’s promising so far!

    Love this, I have a garden full of slugs and snails. Unfortunately they don’t eat the weeds and this stuff prevents them from eating my favourite's. They are welcome in our garden and this stuff helps keep us all happy 😊

    Good product

    My neighbour introduced me to this product. Impressed with how dense it is once watered, no sign of slugs or snails. And it feeds plants as well as has chicken manure in it. One important thing: wear gloves as smelly and takes awhile to go.

    Slug barrier

    This product works better than most things I have tried. I have a big slug problem in my garden and nothing seems to deter them - this product does slow them down though it is only for protecting specific special (or particularly tasty) plants.
