Really much better than expected.
I had no idea when our old fan broke that a new one like this would be such a vast improvement. It has a much greater choice of speeds and the lowest ones are virtually inaudible. You can put on oscillate with the remote, which is very handy indeed, plus if it's in the bedroom, you'll be glad to know that the display light goes off so it doesn't keep you awake. It brilliant and worth every penny of the extra amount over the normal ones I've bought.

Brushless fan
Very quiet at normal speeds though quite noisy at high speeds but then it’s like sitting in a gale so would only be used for short periods.Very powerful. The brushless motor is far superior to the cheap induction motors normally used in domestic fans and should last many years. The remote control is a bonus for less mobile people. Definitely recommended.
