Got this today, filled the freezer blocks up and put them in the freezer, but if you want really cold air I will suggest you do what I have done and use 2 conventional freezer packs with the gel inside as they will stay frozen for hours, you can stack 2 of them on the left side of the tank opposite the water pump and fill with cold water they fit in perfectly not from tap but some that has been in the fridge for hours then presto try and use filtered ice cold water to prolong the life of the equipment too. Once the supplied blocks are frozen solid you can put 1 of them in the tank with the 2 freezer packs and fill with water and there should be no reason why you can not obtain around 15 to 16 degree Celsius free flowing air it took 45 minutes to cool my lounge which is pretty large. This is giving me a constant 15'c just the same as an aircon machine will do for around a fifth or the price to buy and around a tenth of the cost to run an aircon unit. Definitely will be buying a couple more for the bedrooms. This is an awesome bit of kit 👌 👏 Read full review

I had realistic expectations this air cooler would help reduce the temperature, even by a small amount on a hot day. I set it all up after thoroughly reading the instructions. Put the ice bottles in the freezer and patiently waited several hours for them to freeze. Then I added cold water I'd previously chilled in the fridge. I started it up and ran it on high speed. To start with I could barely feel any breeze from 7-8' away, especially compared to my 20 year old fan with the cover removed. I monitored my weather station closely, and by the hour mark the temp hadn't gone down by even 0.1c in a standard size room. The ice bottles had completely defrosted after 30 minutes and the water was at room temp. Even sat fairly close I could feel no discernible difference. Certainly nothing comparable to the AC in my car, which delightfully chills you to the bone when your roasting. In closing, if this review actually gets published and your reading it with the intention of buying one, save your money and either spend it on a regular fan, or cough up extra for a cheap AC unit. Quite a unique little device with water pump, it seams to chill the room providing you shut the sun out, the cool output is limited as they're not refrigerated but in all makes a good effort. Bought new.

The advert for this product states that it is only is packaging that is damaged. It direct tell you that it is badly scratched, has no wheels, has no remote, has obviously been used sure to the sediment seen on the photo, and the pump is loose and would be immersed in water inside the plastic water tank.

I’ve usually had ordinary fans. But I was still hot. So I treated myself to this one. I love the fact you can put cold water in and ice packs. Unfortunately, the weather's not been hot. But I did try it out to see how good it was. I think this will be a great asset when the weather gets hotter. It also has wheels so you can move it to where you want. It's not heavy but when the water is in it I wouldn't try and move it too far. I just wish I'd had one ages ago, especially in that heat wave. So I'm very pleased with it.
