7.5 Ah battery is a long life product.
My old 5.0Ah battery would die in 40 minutes. This bad boy lasted 1 1/2 hours (off and on while bagging winter dead grass) and still had power when I finished. Heavy is NOT better
3 times the power reserve sounds great until you realize it means much more weight added to a hand tool. This battery is so heavy it makes the string trimmer, hedge trimmer, and leaf blower I put it on become cumbersome and difficult to use. This negates most of the advantages of having a larger power reserve. Great Battery
I love EGO products but I have one complaint...the battery arrived with no box. When ordering, it was advertised as "new" so I expected a new battery in the box, not just wrapped in bubble paper the the post office uses. That how products get knocked around and damaged. Great battery for great equipment
I use the second BA4200T battery in a snowblower for clearing my sidewalk and driveway after snowstorms in NE. Battery provides feedback on its remaining charge. Works great with the EGO tools.
This is my first battery for operation of lawn equipment that gave equivalent power to a gasoline engine. I got the 7.5 Ah one to last longer in our operation and it did not go as long as I expected under heavy load on a string trimmer. Awesome product shipped quickly.

Ego's 7.5 Ah battery
When considering the purchase of this product, I was skeptical concerning its authenticity. I thought that it could be a knock-off considering the low price relative to Home Depot's price which was about $80 more. Long run time

Underperforms
Doesn't perform as well as the real EGO battery. I get 75-90 mins mowing out of the EGO, this one only gives me 40-50 mins. Not sure if that is because of inferior design or maybe the one I bought wasn't brand new, although it was advertised as such. (The item arrived without any type of branded packaging.) I would not buy this again unless it was less than half the price of the EGO. At $250 it's not a realistic alternative unless your tasks are small.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
