Great quality camera in daylight
Pros: 1) Easy to use 2) large screen 3) light 4) battery lasts a while 5) sufficient range 6) Good camera maneuverability Cons: 1) Its hard to understand what each of the icons are for however as there aren't many it won't take long to remember which is which 2) Nigh vision isn't very clear 3) a couple of seconds delay with sound (both to monitor and to camera) 4) there are two VOX modes; one which picks up quiet noises and one which only picks up loud noises. They are way too different - there needs to be a middle one. The quiet noise literally picks up everything but the loud one only picks up full on crying. - this is the worst feature of the monitor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Techie momma, love the cool features!
I gotta say I’m impressed by this little device and surprised at all the negative reviews. I guess it all depends on the features you want in a baby monitor and perhaps some people got a lemon?? I’ve used Infant Optix for about one year when I worked as a nanny and I liked it. Monitor battery life was not so good, my boss having to replace it within 6 months of use. But it was a reliable monitor and I wanted it for my baby. However, I found this one for about $100 less and it didn’t bother me it wasn’t brand new, so I gave it a try. I have to say, I like this one much better! First, the image is slightly better and so is the reception. While infant optix only has 1 option of monitoring (sound on and image turns off to save battery), Samsung has 4 different options: sound on and image off, both sound and image on, everything off and they turn on automatically for soft sounds or last one they only turn on for very loud sounds. Now to address the issue of the slight delay, it can be very annoying because of the echo effect, but most monitors have that problem and we’re talking about a 1-2 seconds delay. It doesn’t have the temperature feature, but those are not the most accurate anyways, so I don’t care for it. As for it not being very user friendly, I agree you might need to read the instructions at first, but I didn’t find it complicate at all! Some people complain about the touch screen- it’s not as sensitive as your average cellphone screen, but I assume it’s because it’s a cheaper product and it’s also meant to be more resistant perhaps? Anyways, to each their own, but I totally love this monitor!

Seems to do well
Priced right at $130.00. Great HD picture. Big screen. Seems to all work well, only time will tell if battery stops holding a charge like usual. Night light feature is nice. Touch screen works. Beyond expectations!!!
All I can say is WOW!!! First off shipping said it would be here the 23rd and it showed up 3 days earlier! I shopped around for months looking for the perfect baby monitor. I had many must have options. This one had every thing I needed. The price was extremely reasonable this exact model refurbished with 2 cameras just like this model on Amazon is $250. That’s almost double the listing price on here. Screen is beautiful. No scratches or signs of previous use. Thank you!!!
