Put together wrong
I have removed and cleaned and refitted cdi diverter valves for years .so I thought I'd order one already done . It looked ok so I took out the old one and fitted the refurbished one . It worked ok on hw but didnt drop back to heating. I had to remove and refit the old one .inspected the refurbished one .did they know what they were doing?
