A Staple of Fanatec Lore!
The BMW GT2 wheel has been around for quite some time. Well designed and almost bulletproof, it’s no wonder that Fanatec continues to sell this wheel. Plenty of tactile buttons and the infamous funky 7 way switch give you endless options. Size of the rim is perfect for sedan and GT style racing/driving. Weight of the wheel is mediumish so if you want only the faster style wheels, you may want to look for one of Fanatec’s other offerings which are plenty. Overall I highly recommend this wheel. The build quality is superb. The shifter action is precise and it just looks damn good mounted on my rig.

Simply amazing! Not junk like Thrustmaster!
I’ve always used Thrustmaster for my wheel and pedals, but after doing a lot of research I decided to move up and purchase from Fanatec. You can tell right away just from holding the steering wheel, how well it is made. It has a good weight to it, and feels like it could snap right onto a racing car. There are plenty of buttons. You have one 7 way joystick button that also rotates 360 degrees, which you can use as a dial, and there is a directional joystick too. The wheel base is made of mostly aluminum and steel, and it works great. It has enough force feedback and resistance that I’m not wanting a DD (Direct Drive) wheel at all. I can’t imagine having any more force than this while sim racing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
