Good flawed
Garmin generally produce satnav products which are easy to use and operate as expected and this model is no different. Inputting destination details can be problematic when using the pre-installed third-party links, such as Foursquare but direct postcode searching using Garmin's own database seems to work without any issues. The addition of a built-in dash-cam is a useful feature, saving cable clutter in the car with having a separate dash-cam device. This feature works well, but has to be started manually. This model appears to be plagued with battery issues which are easily searched online. The item I purchased was sold as being 6 months old and hardly used but will only work when connected using the supplied Garmin, in-car charger. Using a data cable will only allow data transfer, it won't charge the device and the battery doesn't seem to charge using the supplied cable, indicating that there is an inherent battery problem. Whilst this isn't generally a problem, it does mean that the unit can't be used if you wanted to park and then use the device for walking directions. Overall, I would recommend this device as an in-car satnav, with built in dash cam but I would suggest looking elsewhere if you think you may need to use the device away from a power source.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Disappointed
Not as user friendly as expected, the mount is not suitable for window use as it obstructs the dash camera, only part use unless your phone is connected to it, not much use if no signal. I was recommended to buy but will be still using my old TomTom via great shame in my case. I had a few hiccups with this unit at first- it couldn’t find any satellite. I hooked it up and download updates which took 3 hours and did hookup and work.
