Toilet descaler
I live in a hard water area, so put both of the rings in my cistern. I wouldn't say they helped 100% but definitely a huge improvement, only have to give the bowel a little clean every 2 weeks now. Yes I would recommend, much easier with them in the cistern.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Do they work ?
2 new bathrooms fitted in white and we live in a hardwater area so dark staining had started to appear after a few flushes. Cleaned up with chemical cleaners but was hard work and soon re appeared. Trawled the net looking for something and these came up. I read the feedback and even though I was still a bit sceptical I ordered 2. They arrived after a few days and I am not convinced they will work but for the price worth a try, well how wrong can you be. They work better than I hoped no more scrubbing with limescale remover and no stains I simply dropped one in each cistern and the problem has gone and no horrible coloured water, no scrubbing with nasty chemicals or bleach and no smell. I would definitely recommend for hard water areas. It only remains to see how long they last but will buy again if they last a reasonable time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Limescale sorted!
We have very hard water, enough that I'd just about given up ever getting the toilet properly clean (overnight would have a scum).
