This ingenious accessory fits the Proxxon Thermocut hot wire cutter. It consists of a large 90° aluminium extrusion, which extends the full width of the Thermocut table. A quadrant allows you to tilt the extrusion from up to 45°.

Check out You Tube and elsewhere and the message is the same - the Proxxon hot wire cutter is the kiddie and best bang for the buck. Get some Shiftinglands accessories for it (like the 2.0 rip fence and the circle cutter and the Proxxon’s capabilities increase ten fold. Take a look at the Shiftinglands reviews on You Tube. All in all, 100% happy to have bought the Proxxon that now sits by my mini drill and power adapter from the same manufacturer - they really do make superb tools. Woulds get a 10 if not for the fence !
Top rate item, the only thing that I can find fault with is the fence, this moves upwards at the end. However this appears to be a common complaint and easily rectified with an after market MDF fence.
