I recently upgraded my Studio Audio workstation PC to a newer AMD 8-core cpu, but it was running extremely hot, so I upgraded my quiet water cooled corsair H55 to a H80i solution, but the dual stock corsair fans constantly sound like a jet fighter taking off. This is no good for recording anything acoustically. Way too much background noise. I just fitted these arctic babies and now my workstation is nearly silent. No exaggeration 1000 percent reduction. I really recommend these fans if you need to run cool and quiet. Just for you information running a Digital Audio Workstation with multi-track recording and playback is very resource intensive, it eats CPU cycles and RAM like they're going out of fashion. Especially if you use a crazy amount of plugins like I do.

Using it to assist my fridge in the caravan to work better in the summer abroad. Normal caravan fridges work differently to the ones used at home. They do the job of cooling using what's called the absorbsion method not a compressor and can only cool approximately 20C below ambient air temp. The addition of themperature controlled extract fans at the fridge vents improves things somewhat, thats what I've done with this one. 12 volts DC, ideal for the job. I must say, this supplier was marvelous, the first one arrived smashed in transit, they replaced it immediately, no hassle so I will be back again.
