I am a big fan of film noir and of Gene Tierney but didn't know this movie which had her opposite Dana Andrews her co-star on the classic Laura.
Andrews is much darker here and guilty of a crime pinned on Tierney's father.
I really enjoyed the film and would recommend it to anyone with an interest in film noir or classic Hollywood. This has been somewhat neglected in my opinion.
A perfect example of film noir of which Hollywood was rightly famous. It was good to see a cast of actors of the time giving us the Benifits of their talents. At the risk of showing my age I say those were the days.Try it to see Hollywood's golden age.
